Dave is Technical Director at JBA Consulting and Discipline Lead for Environmental Management and Compliance, bringing over 30 years of experience in project environmental and ecology management through extensive site-based roles. He is a seasoned environmental consultant with a proven track record in managing environmental and ecological aspects of engineering and development schemes. His expertise in Construction Environmental Management comes from numerous site-based positions as environmental manager on cross-country pipelines and water infrastructure projects.

With a strong background in agriculture and nature conservation, Dave’s skills extend across all areas of environmental management within the construction sector, including waste, contaminated land, planning, consenting, and the water environment. He has applied this expertise on multiple projects, both domestically and internationally, working across client, contractor, and consultancy roles.

Dave’s professional qualifications, combined with his ecological consultancy experience and rural living, have given him deep insight into environmental and countryside issues. Known for his practical approach and close collaboration with engineers and other professionals, he is adept at harmonising construction schemes and development with the environment.
